Orange choc chip energy balls

gluten free, dairy free, grain free. Full of essential fats, protein & minerals!

Easy peasy tasty bites…


  •  1.5 cups /230grms cashew nuts
  • pinch of Himalayan pink salt
  • 1 cup/200grms pitted dates
  • Zest of half an orange
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tblsp chopped dark chocolate

Soak the dates for 10-60 mins, drain and pat dry.

Pulse the cashews in a processor until fine with a few chunks leftover. Add the soaked dates & salt, process until the mix comes together. Add a tsp of water if it doesn’t come together easily.

Add orange zest & vanilla and pulse through. Stir in the choc chips and flatten mix into a 6-8in dish lined with paper. Freeze for 15-20 mins then slice into bars or roll into small energy balls.

Store in the fridge to keep fresh. choc-chip-energy-balls
